The Teaching Tutors 1-on-1 Program

We pride ourselves on providing our students and parents with much more than tutoring. Our Subject-Expert Tutors act as 1-on-1 Personal Teachers and:
  • Possess a breadth of specialized knowledge within their respective subjects and an ability to convey even the most difficult material simply and clearly

  • Help students thoroughly prepare for quizzes, tests, and semester exams by providing them with a wide-range of questions and scenarios, even the most challenging, on which they may be tested

  • Re-teach any course topics for students to clarify concepts and gain mastery over the material

  • Bridge any gaps from previous courses that may be hindering the student to excel within the subject area

  • Implement a “Go-Above-and-Beyond” Approach in collaboration with other team members, including parents, in helping each student achieve their overall academic goals

College Admissions Assistance

Our team consists of respected college planning and advisement professionals who provide assistance and support whenever needed to high school guidance counselors as they work with American and international high school students to navigate the college admissions process. Assistance may include helping students with:
  • Curriculum development, college lists, teacher recommendations, activity sheets, college visits and interviews, early admissions applications, and more

  • Assistance is also available for private school and graduate school admissions
Early Childhood / Elementary School Teacher-Nanny Program

At The Lauzière Education Group, we believe in giving all students, no matter their age, the best, most comprehensive 1-on-1 educational development and support from highly qualified and caring teachers / tutors. Our Teacher-Nanny program is two-fold, helping mothers and fathers while at the same time providing 1-on-1 early childhood and elementary school teaching for their children:
  • Teacher-Nannies possess Bachelor’s degrees, Certification, and/or Teaching Experience in Early Childhood and/or Elementary Education

  • Provide 1-on-1 Homework Help and Subject-Specific Academic Tutoring

  • Assist parents with dropping off and picking up children from school

  • Help parents with other household organization and management as required

  • Customized specifically to the individual needs and schedules of each family 
Accelerated Course Program

For advanced-level students, our Accelerated Course Program provides opportunities to complete required and elective courses at the student's own pace outside of the school classroom through fully accredited high school virtual programs:
  • Full-Year Courses can be completed at the student’s pace but in as few as eight weeks during the school year or during the summer (*AP courses take as few as 12 weeks.)

  • Students receive weekly 1-on-1 tutoring with subject-expert tutors to guide them through their courses and monitor them as they complete them

  • Classes are virtual and can be taken from anywhere.

  • Courses are NCAA and UC a-g Approved

  • Courses Offered: AP English (Language), AP English (Literature), World Literature, American Literature, British Literature, Spanish I-III, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, AP Calculus A/B/C, Statistics, AP Biology AB with Lab, AP Chemistry with Lab, Physics, Biology without Lab, Chemistry without Lab, US History, AP US History, World History, and electives
State Standardized Test Development

The Lauzière Education Group provides consultancy in math, ELA, and the sciences to companies specializing in state standardized testing. Our team provides:
  • Test and Item development, writing, and review for state standardized test projects

  • Experience in development for such states as Minnesota, Florida, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Missouri, New York, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, Alabama, etc.

  • Experienced working as senior-level development specialists and with team leads
Collaborative Academic Program for International Students

In collaboration with U.S. private schools and select guardianship organizations, we provide full 1-on-1 intensive academic support, monitoring, and training for international students in grades 7-12 studying in American private schools. Students enrolled in The LEG Up Program receive 1-on-1 assistance with their mainstream classes, including English / Literature, World & U.S. History, Biology, Math, Foreign Languages, Chemistry, Theology, and AP Courses.

Course Credit Recovery Program

Students who need to retake a course in which they have received a low grade can apply for and enroll in our 1-on-1 Course Credit Recovery Program that will allow them to repeat the course and have the new and additional grade as part of their transcript package. This program is similar in scope and process as our Accelerated Course Program.
